Robert H. Baloh, M.D., Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Neurology and a Neurologist whose work is focused in the area of neuromuscular disease. Dr. Baloh has made important contributions to understanding inherited motor neuron degeneration. His Children’s Discovery Institute project focuses on mitochondrial function and genetics in children with neuromuscular disease. This work is synergistic with CDI Scholar Dr. Chris Gurnett, and leverages the strengths of the Human Genome Sequencing Center.
