Multiplying Benefits for Research in Pediatric Leukemia, Brain Tumors, Heart Disease and More
Children's Discovery Institute cancer researcher Todd Druley, MD, PhD, and his collaborator, Robi Mitra, PhD, multiplied a modest investment in a new idea to create a novel gene sequencing technique that is now benefiting other investigators' projects in many diseases, including leukemia, brain tumors, heart failure and a host of other pediatric conditions. This demonstrates how the Children's Discovery Institute is a model for collaboration.
